Huguette
St-Germain

Born in Longueuil QC, Canada She attended Collège du Vieux-Montréal, in Applied Arts, Interior Design. Drawing has always been a major part of her life. Moreover, it is while she was at the Cégep du Vieux-Montréal that she experienced her first experience with a brand new medium for her: oil paint.
Music, and more particularly blues and jazz, and the magic of words expressed through poetry, are the muses that inspire Huguette.
All of her artwork is done with oil paint and mixed media techniques.
Huguette strongly prefers working without the limits imposed by only one technique. Consequently, this exploration, made on a continuing basis, can be seen in her work. She also likes developing textures to reflect her sensitivity. |
