Agnès
Riverin
|
|
Agnès Riverin was born in Chicoutimi in 1958. She lives and works in Montreal. Painter, sculptor and poet, she navigates between visual and literary creation. Her visual and sculptural works are parts of public and private collections, including those of Collection Loto-Québec, Collection La Laurentienne, the National Library of Canada, the Bibliothèque Nationale du Québec and the Bibliothèque de l'Université Laval.
Selected at competition, she has created many art works designed to be especially integrated in architecture projects. Her most recent poetry collection, "Ce tremblement singulier" , was published in 2007 by Éditions du Noroît. "Une traversée à l’estime", got published in 2000 by Écrits des Forges. Poetry is an integral part of her visual research, present in her paintings, sculptures or in artists’ books.
